The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has dismissed a purported recruitment update circulating on some social media platforms, describing it as false and not issued by the Service.
In a statement, the NCS urged members of the public to disregard the fake publication and avoid spreading unverified information.
The Service advised prospective applicants and the general public to rely only on information released through its official communication channels for authentic updates on recruitment and other activities.
The NCS reiterated that all official announcements are published on its verified social media platforms, including Facebook (Nigeria Customs Service), Instagram (@customsng), X (formerly Twitter) (@customsng), Threads (@customsng), and TikTok (@customsng).
The Service further urged the public to remain vigilant and verify information before sharing it, warning against falling victim to misinformation circulated by unauthorized sources.
