ACOE Holds 2025 Investiture, Public Lecture and Awards in Abuja

The Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) has announced its 2025 Investiture Public Lecture and Awards, scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja.
‎
‎The event, themed “Strengthening Corporate Online Media for National Development,” reflects ACOE’s commitment to advancing credible online journalism, promoting professional development, expanding digital innovation, and encouraging issues-based reporting that supports national growth and good governance.

This was contained in a statement on Sunday signed by its Chairman, Shola Akingboye.
‎
‎According to the statement, the event marks three years of ACOE’s existence, stressing that the Investiture Lecture & Awards will feature:
‎
‎A Public Lecture on strengthening strategic communication, enhancing media–government collaboration, investing in digital infrastructure, and promoting accountability-focused reporting.
‎
‎An Awards Ceremony honouring champions of good governance, humanitarian service, and national security, including posthumous awards for fallen heroes who died combating insurgency and banditry since 2010.
‎
‎A Gala will follow, featuring the cutting of the anniversary cake and the presentation of special awards.
‎
Over 300 participants from the media, government, legislature, diplomatic missions, security agencies, civil society and NGOs are expected to attend.
