President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ended his working vacation in France and departed Paris for Nigeria.
His aircraft is expected to arrive at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, later on Tuesday.
The President is heading to Lagos ahead of Nigeria’s Independence Day celebrations, where he will honour the memory of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, widely recognised as a central figure in Nigeria’s democratic struggle.

Tinubu is scheduled to attend the premiere of a movie celebrating Abiola, the winner of the June 1993 presidential election, at the Wole Soyinka National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, on Independence Day.
During his stay in Lagos, the President is also expected to hold strategic meetings with political leaders and associates as part of preparations for the 2027 elections.
Recall, Tinubu left Abuja on August 30 for his working vacation, spending a week in London before proceeding to Paris.
In Paris, the President attended a private dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron and held meetings with business leaders, including Vincent Bolloré of the Bolloré Group, whose media and digital interests include Canal+, MultiChoice and Universal Music Group.
He also met on Monday with the Chairman of First Holdings, Femi Otedola.
Last week, Tinubu witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ogun State Government and DP World for the development of a Gateway Deep Seaport in Ogun Waterside and the establishment of a Blue Marine Economic Zone.
DP World, a global ports and logistics operator, plans to invest $7 billion in the proposed seaport and economic zone.
The President is expected to return to Abuja after concluding his political engagements in Lagos.
