The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored the Ikeja-West/Omotosho 330kV transmission line following a temporary outage in the early hours of Tuesday.

The line, which tripped at 12:37 a.m. on October 27, 2026, was restored to service at 10:14 a.m., according to a statement issued by TCN management.

The company said the restoration had enabled the resumption of bulk power supply through the line to Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) and Ikeja Electric.

TCN expressed appreciation to the two electricity distribution companies and their customers for their patience and understanding during the period of the outage.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring efficient bulk power transmission across the country.
