The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a three-hour preventive maintenance exercise on the Gwarinpa–Suleja 132/33kV Line 2 bay switchgears and associated equipment.
According to a statement issued by TCN management on Friday, the exercise is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
The company said the maintenance would result in a 20-minute interruption of electricity supply to customers in Suleja Township, FCT College of Education, Field Base, Zuba, Sabon Wuse and surrounding areas.
TCN explained that the brief interruption would enable the transfer of load from Gwarinpa–Suleja Line 2 to Kubwa–Suleja Line 1, allowing the maintenance work to be carried out without causing a prolonged outage.
The company apologised to electricity consumers in the affected areas for any inconvenience the exercise may cause.
