The Director of Organisation of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Osita Izunaso (Imo West) on Wednesday expressed satisfaction with the turnout and smooth conduct of its inaugural rally in Kaduna State, declaring that there are plans to hold rallies in five other locations as part of the first phase of its activities.

This comes as Izunaso dismissed claims that the massive crowd at the Kaduna rally was artificially generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

He however insisted that the event was held physically and streamed live.

Rising from its inaugural meeting, the Director of PBAT campaign council said members reviewed the Kaduna rally and commended the Kaduna state government for its role in ensuring its success.

He praised the State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for the support and preparations that contributed to the successful conduct of the rally.

He urged other governors to make adequate preparations for the presidential campaign rallies in their respective states.

He said “the council had scheduled rallies in Cross River State on November 2, Gombe State on November 3, Nasarawa State on November 4, and Ekiti State on November 5.

“A South-South zonal rally would also hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on November 7”.

He explained that the directorate had mapped out strategies for the successful execution of the first phase of the campaign, adding that the council intended to visit every state in the federation.

Specifically, on the rumours that the crowd at the Kaduna rally was AI-generated, Izunaso said “the stadium was filled to capacity as early as 8 a.m. on the day of the rally, with attendees experiencing difficulty accessing the venue because of the large turnout.

“The event was streamed live, so how can anybody be talking about AI at this point in time in Kaduna?” he asked.

Commenting on the planned rally in Kano State, he expressed optimism that the turnout would surpass that recorded in Kaduna, citing Kano’s larger population.

“I can tell you that we are going to have more crowds in Kano. Kano has more population than Kaduna,” he said.

It would be recalled that ahead of the 2027 general elections, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) kicked off the campaign for re-election of President Tinubu on Saturday, 24th October, 2026 in Kaduna, northwest Nigeria.
